Camel Trekking

Admiringly, native people like to describe camel as a ship in the desert. Our camel trekking tour takes you to the Boorug Deliin Els in Uvs province, most western part of Mongolia. In this twelve days fascinating tour, you cross the Central Asian sand dunes, passing by snow topped Altai Mountains, visiting the beautiful oasis, birds playing lakes and local camel herders families. You will experience the open desert landscapes during the day and sleep under millions of stars at night, listening to real silence. You will have the chance to understand the camel better when you are with them the whole day in the desert and you will discover just how friendly the camel really is.

Itinerary
Day 1 | Ulaanbaatar city
Arrive in Ulaanbaatar. Visit Museum of Nature and History of Mongolia - Gandan monastery - Sukhbaatar square. Overnight in hotel. (L, D)
Day 2 | Ulaangom city / Bayannuur lake
In the morning, fly to Ulaangom city, center of Uvs province. Go to Boorug Deliin Else. It is place of sand dunes, clear blue lake and beautiful natural scenery place. Overnight in tented camp. (B, L, D)
Day 3 | Camel trek training
Instructor teaches you how to ride a camel. 2 hours camel riding on the lake side. Visit to local nomads. Overnight in tents. (B, L, D)
Day 4 | Camel trek
Camel ride to cross the steppe of Gobi desert. Overnight in tents. (B, L, D)
Day 5 | Riding to Nariinii Ekh
Our caravan direct to Nariin Ekh. It is interesting to see nomad's winter base on the way. Overnight in tents. (B, L, D)
Day 6 | Nariinii Ekh Oasis
This is beautiful oasis in the Mongolian desert place. Overnight in tents. (B, L, D)
Day 7 | Duruu Lake / Golden sand
Visit Duruu lake surrounded by sand dunes near the border of Mongol and Tuva state. Overnight in tents. (B, L, D)
Day 8 | Bayannuur Lake
Return to Bayannuur lake. Goodbye party with local families. Overnight in tents. (B, L, D)
Day 9 | Ulaangom city
Drive to Ulaangom city, stay in hotel. (B, L, D)
Day 10 | Ulaanbaatar city
Fly to Ulaanbaatar. In the evening, we will enjoy Tumen Ekh Mongolian Folk songs and dance concert. Overnight in hotel. (B, L, D)
Day 11 | Departure
Transfer to Chinggis Khaan International Airport for departure. (B)
