Itinerary

Day 1 | Ulaanbaatar

Our guide will greet you at the airport for your private transfer to hotel. Explore the highlights of the city with visiting Gandan monastery, Natural history museum which displays the flora and fauna, different species of animals and birds that are living in Mongolia. Also you will have an opportunity to see the complete skeleton of dinosaur that was found from Mongolia. (L, D)


Day 2 | Khogno Khan Mountain

Today we will spend in top attraction of central part of Mongolia, the Khogno Khan Mountain - the nature is real fantastic with panoramic view from top of 1967 meters above sea level and 200 km vision to vast steppe, snake flowing river through Mongol Els sand dunes and visit old small monastery Ovgon with local nomad family by trekking or horseback ride. Day 3 | Ugii Lake

Drive to Ugii lake National Park, which popular among travelers by its bird watching and fishing activities. On the way we will see local nomad family who breeding horses, cows, sheep and goats. After arrival in yurt camp we will have short trekking around lakeshore. (B, L, D)


Day 4 | Tsenkher Hot Springs

In this day we will arrive in Tsenkher hot spa and observe by walking the wonderful area surrounded by high mountains, which covered by lush green forest of larch and meadows covered by sparkling colored flowers, where main attraction is hot spa, which produces 86.9 C hot sulphur water and being in open hot bath with looking to sky and stars, will leave an unforgettable impression. Day 5 | Orkhon Valley

In Orkhon valley we have a sightseeing of great places with ancient lava extend, biggest and longest river - Orkhon and wonderful waterfall, which is in prosper only in summer times and visit enormously concentrated local nomad families, who breeding a horses and yaks by situating along the Orkhon river. And this area is very popular with historically memorable places like findings and shrives of ancient Turkic state; inscribed monuments, rock statues and area involves in Steppe Natural Zone. We will explore the waterfall identifies by huge sound of noise from where water falls from 24 meters and it is truly depends upon rainfalls of current year. (B, L, D)


Day 6 | Naiman Nuur

After 2-3 hours trip start driving to Naiman Nuur. It is very beautiful place that has eight lakes surrounded by forested mountains and located on 2500-3000 meters above the sea level. (B, L, D)


Day 7 | Naiman Nuur

You can go hiking or ride horse around Naiman Nuur and visit nomad family. Later on, we will arrive at Shireet Nuur. (B, L, D)


Day 8 | Karakorum

On this day we'll arrive in Karakorum city - ancient capital city of Mongol Empire from where Great Chinggis Khaan conquered and ruled the world and visit to Erdene Zuu monastery, ancient monastery built by Abtai Sain Khaan in 1586, will leave an unforgettable cultural impression with white 108 stupas, walls and temples by walking (B, L, D)


Day 9 | Khustai National Park

Early in the morning, we will leave Karakorum and drive to Khustai National Park. We can have chance to see Przewalski horses. There we can walk around the protected area and see the rare animals such as deer and wolves. (B, L, D)


Day 10 | Ulaanbaatar

Drive back to Ulaanbaatar for a visit Fine Art Museum that has very interesting exhibits such as beautiful sculptures made by Saint Zanabazar in 17th century. In the evening you will attend a traditional folk concert. (B, L, D)


Day 11 | Departure

Your journey through Mongolian steppe will be concluded with transferring to the airport. (B)
